Situated on the eastern Okavango and named after Chief Moremi of the Ba Tawana tribe, this 3500 km2 protected area is world famous for its rich biodiversity.

Bodumatau
meaning “where the lion roars” is situated in a remote area on the lower reaches of the Delta and is renowned for its lion sightings, cheetah and wildog
Xini
Situated near the edge of the permanent Delta at the lower reaches of the Mogogelo River system, this area supports vast breeding herds of elephant, red lechwe and buffalo.
Mboma Island
One of the larger islands in the Moremi incorporating mixed acacia woodlands and riverine forest. This area supports large giraffe and buffalo herds as well as healthy predator populations.
Xaxanaxa
Situated within the permanent Delta, a truly spectacular area for game and incredible bird life. Where forests of large mopane woodland, jackal berry and African mangos teen have been moulded over time by large herds of elephant
Dombo Hippo Pools.
It is here that the Khwai river begins its decline and meander through the Kalahari sands. The area is great for leopard and lion sightings and excellent for bird viewing.

The Khwai river is famous for the huge herds of elephant that come down to drink each day along side an array of other mammals ,predators & raptors,eg butleur eagles and tawny eagles are also found feeding on the shore of the river.
